Extraordinarily peaceful location. The water activities are so much fun and is an amazing experience. You have whole like to yourself early in the morning for peddle boating or kayaking. Safari is decent too. We had an encounter with an elephant who charged at us (but then thankfully stopped and let us go). Food can likely be improved a bit.

One of the undiscovered beautiful place, the stay and service is good, the rooms have basic amenities, there is no hot water, it will be supplied from outside. Food is good, except on the last day they added soya chunks to biryani with very few chicken pieces. The safari guides in our vehicle were not that attentive as they missed a major spottings like leopard, elephant, which was spotted by one of us and few others missed it. Children's play area can be developed more as it is the only place to pass time. The water activities were good.

Good location. Little isolated with no network connectivity except bsnl as of today. Staff is polite and friendly. Some of them can speak Hindi and English. Food is good and homely cooked by local cook. Local fish curry is good. Sunsets at this place are amazing. Room is basic and no hot water. No geyser in the toilet. Apart from that no complaints.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet in the midst of nature. Though the tented accommodation gets a bit hot during the day, the property's location is truly amazing. The staff is cordial and helpful. Had a great experience with the evening safari. Kudos to the jeep driver and the guide. Morning walk in the jungle was also very enjoyable. Special thanks to Shiva, our guide in the jungle who accompanied us on safari and nature walk.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gopinatham JLR property with my family, and it was an exceptional experience. The accommodations gave us the jungle feel and also immersed me in the natural beauty surrounding the property. The staff, especially the naturalist Shivu, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, enhancing our wildlife excursions with fascinating insights. The culinary experience exceeded expectations, offering a diverse range of delicious meals that catered to various preferences. The attention to detail in providing sustainable and eco-friendly practices was evident, contributing to a responsible and immersive stay. The guided activities, including jungle safaris, were well-organized and allowed us to connect with the rich biodiversity of the area. The resort's commitment to preserving the environment while providing a top-notch experience is truly commendable. Overall, my time at this JLR property was not just a stay; it was an enriching journey into nature, complemented by warm hospitality and a genuine commitment to eco-conscious practices. The whole place is calm and quiet amidst the nature. The view of Gopinatham lake is beautiful. JLR also offers coracle ride at the lake. Wifi: While approaching the trails, you will loose mobile network. There is no Wifi as well. We kind of liked this and prefer this way. It is better not to have cell phone/wifi when living amidst nature. Safari: The views at the end point of Safari is beautiful. You can spot few birds, bisons during the safari. You also get to visit Mr P Srinivas memorial center. Documentary: Don't miss this. It is a short movie. You get to know the history, wild life of the place. Service: Entire staff are helpful, polite and professional. Customer service is the best. The staff will keep you updated about the itinerary. They take special care if you are travelling with senior citizens. Suggestions: Children's play area needs to be renovated. Some equipment are broken and some need repainting as well. The common area needs to be renovated too.
